What it does

Also called Scenery Lock in existing projects. Reviewed location photographs and the Director’s Brief guide the room or world; additional viewpoints reduce invented surroundings. Reference people are not extra cast members.

What to expect

A photograph cannot establish unseen architecture. Real-location research needs review, and lighting must follow your direction rather than blindly copy the reference photo.
